Networking 8th December

Category : Uncategorised

At our last morning networking event of 2016 we had a very good turnout to celebrate a good year for Gedling Business Partnership. Beverley Perkins from www.beverleyperkinsphotographer.co.uk was on hand to take free festive photographs to all who were brave enough to not worry what they looked like at that time in the morning. We also had finsburymedia.com to give a short presentation. They will be speaking more at length in the new year and would like to know what topics are of interest to people. They cover webdesign, SEO, Web hosting and social media so please let u shave any questions you want answering.

The Board got into festive spirit and had their photos taken and

November Morning Networking

Category : Uncategorised

This month we decided it was time for everyone to really find out what each did . Not just the quick 60 seconds but sitting down and talking to each other. They all got on so well it was hard to get them to stop and move on to another table.

We were also joined by Councillor John Clarke who kept us up to date with latest events in Gedling. The Christmas lights are to be switched on Thursday 24 November 2016 at 6pm in Eagle Square Arnold . There will be  a Craft Fair from 5pm and anyone interested in a stall should contact us.

Julie Beresford from Gedling Borough Council Economic Department gave details on the Erasmus apprenticeship project

October Morning Networking

Category : Uncategorised

David Winnett from Hopkins solicitors gave us a very interesting talk n the problems that can arise when employee have matrimonial problems. You may think that these are personal to them but employers must realise how these things can impact in a major way on their businesses. Employees in the middle of a difficult divorce are rarely at their best at work so it is in the interest of an employer to help that employee to find a smooth solution to their difficulties. David is a Collaborative Family Lawyer and Mediator and can help people find solutions with as little pain as is possible in the circumstances.
